METHOD FOR MONITORING PROCESS DATA

PURPOSE:To present the information to an operator in an intuitively easy-to- understand shape by displaying the attitude of the complicated process signal of a large plant with a two-dimensional correlation. CONSTITUTION:An A/D converter 1 converts a process signal from a plant to a digital value, a differentiation device 2 obtains the differential value of a signal and a dynamic characteristic predicting device 3 obtains the predictive value of a signal. A signal selecting device 4 selects two signals among a process signal, a differentiation signal and a predicting signal and a display device 5 obtains both signals with X-Y axis and the two-dimensional correlation is displayed. For the data selected to X and Y, it is decided whether the condition of the plant is normal or abnormal, an alarming device 8 generates the alarm at the time of the abnormality and the data are preserved at a data preserving device 9.
