PURPOSE:To secure the high-reliability transmission by carrying out the signal transmission to the fault of one area on the transmission line via either one of the transmission lines distributed in the loop formation. CONSTITUTION:In case the signal transmission is carried out between CPU1 and input/output signal sources 9, 10 and 11 which are scattered over a wide range, the transmission is tried at central transmission control mechanism 2 with the transmission line switched toward 15 side if some fault occurs at one area on the transmission line, for example, on transmission line 13. In such case, the connection is secured for terminal transmission control mechanisms 4 and 5 via transmission lines 12 and 14, thus ensuring the normal transmission of the signal. As a result, the highly reliable transmission is possible for the signal. |
