PURPOSE:To obtain stable recording characteristics at a high recording density with decreased fine line drop-outs and flares by adding fine powder of a guanamine resin to a coating liquid of a dielectric layer. CONSTITUTION:The fine powder of the guanamine resin is incorporated into the dielectric layer. The guanamine resin is synthesized by condensation reaction of guanamine and formaldehyde, is entirely insoluble in most of solvents without being swollen by the same, has not water absorptivity at all, has high physical strength and is stable at the time of preparing the coating liquid with a ball mill, sand mill, etc. The electrostatic recording sheet having the high recording density and the decreased fine line drop-outs and flares is thereby obtd. |
