PURPOSE:To surely anneal only the staking portions of rivets by fixing the revets, which are fed from a hopper via chuter, to the peripheral edge of a rotary disc with their staking portions alone being protruded to the back side and heating the same from the back side with a burner. CONSTITUTION:Multiple rivets A charged into a hopper 3 are scooped up, one by one, through vertical movement of an arraying disc 5 and are fed into a chuter 4. The stem portion of each rivet A is inserted into the notched part 10a provided on the peripheral side part of a rotary disc 10 under revolution from the chuter 4. The staking portion at the end of the rivet is protruding from the back of the rotary disc 10. In this state, the staking portion of the rivet A is heated and annealed with a burner 11 while the rotary disc 10 is being rotated. Thereafter, it is slowly cooled during the time it goes to the notched part 14a of an outer frame 14. In the notched part 14a, it dislodges from the rotary disc 10 and is taken out to the outside by passing through a discharge trough 12. |
