PURPOSE:Title composition that contains a specific anionic high polymer, a cationic surfactant, a polypeptide or its alkyl ester, as the essential constituents, in a specific proportion, thus being suitably used for setting hair or like that. CONSTITUTION:Said hair treatment composition contains, as the essential components, (A) an anionic high polymer that dissovles in water or aqueous ehtanol, has 10,000-600,000 molecular weight and is given as formula I (Y and Y' are H, methyl; Z is hydroxyl or O-acetyl; m/n is 10/0-3/1)(0.1-3wt%), (B) a cationic surfactant of formula II (R1, R2, R3, R4 are alkyl, hydroxyalkyl and others) (0.3-6wt%) and (C) a polypeptide or its alkyl ester (0.5-0.8wt%), wherein the ratio of component A to component B is 1/0.8-5. The synergism of these three components gives no tackiness when used or finished even in the case where it is used frequently. |
