PURPOSE:To improve the ratio of S/N by an arrangement wherein infrared rays radiated from foods is focused on the sensor by the condensing mirror comprising the parabolic mirror or the like through the port opened at the wall of the cooker, thereby increasing the quantity of incident light into the sensor. CONSTITUTION:Any substance with the temperature more than 0 deg.K radiates infrared energy and the quantity of this energy has the correlation with the temperature of the substance. Based on this principle, the radiated infrared rays is condensed by curved reflecting system. Particularly parabolic curvature is adopted as the curved surface, so infrared enters into a parabolic mirror substantially in parallel and reaches an infrared sensor 15. Therefore, optical information can be collected with reduced attenuation from remote area. The sensor 15 is positioned between a port 9 opened at the wall of a cooker and a condensing mirror 14, so that the arrangement is simplified and the level of a photosignal is increased, thereby improving the ratio of S/N. |
