PURPOSE:To enlarge the application scope of stop watch by adding the functions of preset and adder and substractor during running. CONSTITUTION:The output of an AND gate 14 inverts into a high level by closing a switch 9 when stop watch operation is made through FF16-18 etc. in accordance with the output of a Mode counter 11 and an input control circuit which operates Second, Minute, Hour counters 4, 5, 6 in the stop watch by opening a switch 7. In this way, the output of an AND gate 21 also inverts into a high level to reset the counters 4 through 6 and subtraction is made during the stop watch operation of running. Similarly, with a switch 8 closed, the output of an AND gate 24 etc. is inverted into a high level through the FF16, 18 etc. to perform addition by carrying the counter 6. Addition and subtraction are also performed and preset is done by closing a switch 10 to obtain stopped condition and by operating the switches 8, 9. Therefore, the stop watch will widely be used for the disposal of misstart, correction, and addition during athletic events, etc. |
