<p>The structure consists of two longerons which are V - shaped and flanged top and bottom. the longerons are fitted with channels on the inner side and covered by a plate on the outer surface. The longerons are joined by means of a cross piece which is folded over at the ends into the V. The structure also has a wooden saddle supported on two blocks parallel to the longerons. The top of the structure has a beam with re-inforced sides, fixed over the V.</p> |
