The emulsifier has a body (1) which is connected between the water inlet supply (6) and the shower head (12). It forms an enclosed chamber (9), and its outlet side (11) has a tapered end (10). The inlet side has a tube (14) extending into the chamber, narrowed (15) at one end to form a venturi jet opposite the chamber outlet (11). Adjacent to the venturi jet is a similar connector (21) for supplying (25) the emulsifying liquid. The bore (17) of this connector, inside the chamber, is also tapered and is fitted with a ball type non-return valve (23).
