<p>The aerosol canister of air freshener is mounted on a door in a vertical position. The release mechanism comprises a strip of spring steel which is bent into a right angle. It is fixed to the cross-beam of the door frame in alignment with the valve of the canister. When the door is opened, the valve comes in contact with the actuator and a dose of air freshener is released as the valve is depressed. When the door is closed the bracket returns to its undeflected position away from the valve.</p> |
