The single-side snow plough has a plough frame (1) with at least one upper rigid blade element (5) connected rigidly to the frame, and at least two pivot blade elements (4) which are arranged on the frame (1) underneath the rigid blade element (5), pivotably joining the latter, and are connected to the frame (1) in each case via a return spring (15). In order to give the lower edge (4a) of the pivot blade elements (4) an upward and rearward movement upon striking an obstacle, each pivot blade element (4) is connected to the frame (1) via at least two link rods (6, 7). These link rods (6, 7) are arranged vertically offset with respect to one another both on the frame (1) and on the relevant pivot blade element (4). The one upper link rod (6) engages in the middle area, and the other lower link rod (7) engages in the lower edge area, of the relevant pivot blade element (4). An upwardly foldable knee joint is formed by the lower edge (4a) of the pivot blade element (4) on the one hand with the upper link rod (6) and on the other hand with the lower link rod (7), which knee joint is extended approximately straight in the rest position of the pivot blade element (4). <IMAGE>
