<p>The piece of luggage, such as suitcase or trunk, has a hinged seat on one of the sides. For use the seat is pulled out at right angles to the case side, with a hinged drop resting on the ground. When not required for use, the prop and seat are folded against the case side. The seat consists of a covering over a U-shaped frame. The free ends of the frame are hinged to the case side. The prop is formed of a bar with one end hinged to the bridge part of the U, and the free end has a non-slid shoe. The prop is reinforced by stays hinged to the U-bridge.</p> |
