The blind is fitted on the external surface of the swivelling-leaf roof light. It consists of a frame and a leaf, with the entire assembly mounted on the sloping surface of the roof. The blind consists of vertical frame sections connected at the bottom by a horizontal section and by a top horizontal section designed in a box shape to accommodate the blind in the rolled-on condition. The top horizontal section is fitted with a hinge assembly by which it is connected to the upper horizontal section of the roof light frame. The bottom horizontal section of the leaf carries a stay element with its other end provided with a set of rollers operating inside C-cross section slots of vertical blind frame sections.
