PURPOSE:To make it possible to form the developer layer of a desired thickness to make development automatic and remote-control, by providing a developer jet hole and an air jet hole, which is inclined to the direction of the hole above, on the developing head for a liquid permeation flaw detection unit. CONSTITUTION:In case that developing head 12 is inserted to tube 11, head 12 is made double-tube structure, and the outside tube and the inside tube are denoted as developer tube 13 and air tube 14 respectively. Developer jet holes 15... and air jet holes 16... are provided at the tip of head 12 at a fixed interval. Holes 16 are provided nearer to the tip of head 12 than holes 15 and are inclined to the direction of holes 15. Head 12 is constituted by a driving unit, which is not shown in the figure, so that head 12 can be turned and reciprocated. Head 11 is inserted up to a required position and is turned while being pulled out, and developer a and air are jetted to stick developer a to inspected face 17. The quantity and the thickness of developer a are controlled to desired values by the air pressure of the air curtain which air from holes 16 generates due to rotation of head 12. |
