<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate passengers getting in and out of an automobile by a method wherein a door is mounted on the side of a seat, and the seat is provided on a travelling stand sliding freely in and out of the automobile. CONSTITUTION:A seat 2A is provided on a travelling stand 14A by means of a hole 17. When the travelling stand 14A is moved in the direction indicated by an arrow (a) by driving a motor 13, the seat 2A and a door 3 join the travelling stand in moving in the direction indicated by the arrow (a) through a roller 15 running along a guide groove 8. A seat on the counter side is also constituted in the same way, which moves counter by driving the motor. The seat is thus ready for sliding in and out together with the door, thereby facilitating passengers getting in and out of an automobile at a posture as in the case of ordinary type of chairs.</p> |
