<p>The drive system, usable also for watercraft etc., consists e.g. of wing sections (6) which are mounted on a set of parallel linkages (2, 4). The wing sections can pivot about points (7) on triangular plates (5) which link the ends of the linkage levers. Springs (10) keep the levers and the wing section central. The levers can pivot about central points (1, 3) and are given an oscillatory movement by applying alternating forces o a lever (9) which extends at 90 deg. from the centre of one of the main levers.</p> |
