<p>Process used in the workings of mineral ores or semi-worked product, wherein samples are taken in the form of a mixture of coarse and fine dust (3) swirled up, which is either a secondary product or a product obtained artificially, the coarse dust is separated (separator 9) and all or a fraction of the fine dust (3) is immediately assayed in an analysis apparatus (11). Materials are sorted depending on the result of the assay and they are evacuated in the wells (4, 5 or 6) or they are subsequently processed. When working iron ore (1), the assaying time is effectively reduced by at least 10 minutes to 1 minute approximately. This allows to decide at once during the transport and without delay, in which well for example the mineral ore should be conveyed. If the dust mixture swirled up and ready to be assayed is not available, it may be generated artificially by compressed air or by mechanical crushing.</p> |
