<p>The tracing square is in the form of a right-angle triangle and has a vertical contact shank (4) along one short side, and a long aperture (5) along the other one. At least one side has a toothing (6, 7) to act as guide for a tracing tool (14). Alternately, both sides may be toothed, with teeth staggered relative to each other by half a tooth width. A scale may be positioned along the toothings. The tracing square may have an additional slot (10) with straight walls, located between a toothed slot and the hypotenuse at an angle of 30 deg. to the contact shank.</p> |
