The blind is operating in a frame consisting of vertical legs, a horizontal leg and a horizontal connecting element comprising the operating mechanism. The connecting element contains a shaft seated in the side walls. The shaft carries one end of the blind connected to it in such a way that a rotary movement of the shaft produces opening or closing movement of the blind. The other end of the frame contains a set of pull mechanisms in the form of leaf springs sprially wound on two spools fitted in the two corners of the frame. The pull mechanism supports the closing movement of the blind, while a spool fitted on shaft has a strap connected to it by which the opening operation of the blind can be carried out. The strap assembly works together with an arresting device to keep the blind in any required position.
