PURPOSE:To make a single pedal available for easy operation of two systems of operating members by a method wherein a single pedal is made ready for slanting left and right according to a pedalling position, and the pedal is kept from slanting for simultaneous operation of two systems of operated members but ready for slanting for selective operation. CONSTITUTION:When operating both operated members 5L, 5R of left and right brakes simultaneously, a brake pedal 8 rotates in the direction indicated by arrow b without slanting by footing the center of a pedal body 9, therefore a stop member 15 of a pedal 8 is fitted simultaneously to stopped units 6L, 6R of both operated members 5L, 5R, and thus the left and right brakes are actuated simultaneously. When operating the right operated member 5R, the pedal 8 slants rightward and the stop member 15 comes off the left stopped unit 6L to be ready for fitting to the right stopped unit 6R by footing the right part of the pedal body 9, therefore the right side brake is actuated by turning the pedal 8 in the direction b. In the case of the left side brake, the system works in the reversed sequence. |
