PURPOSE:To use a dump truck with a gate kept horizontal as in the case of cargo truck by mounting a gate supporting rod on the rear gate of dump truck. CONSTITUTION:At the time of loading other that for dump operation when a rear gate 4 is to be stopped so that it will come just onto an extension of the floor 2 of a rear body 1 as in the case of normal type of trucks, a gate supporting rod 7 is drawn out of a gate support 3 at a stage of turning a little backward with a hook mechanism 6 as axis, and a latch 10 is fitted in a stop hole 15 provided on the side of the rear gate 4. After that, the rear gate 4 is turned again with the turning motion given as rear downward as possible. The gate supporting rod 7 is drawn out of the gate support 3, and a stopper pin 9 provided on its end is turned until it is fitted to the inside of a gate supporting rod through hole 13, therefore the gate is kept horizontal by selecting the length of rod properly. |
