Natural or perfume oil addn. to emulsion paint - to reduce cracking tendency and smell generation-time

Emulsion paints contain pure oil/s, esp. natural- or perfume oils, in addn. to resin dispersion, pigment, film-forming agents and standard additives, e.g. cpds. improving rheological properties and retarding film-formation. The oils may be emulsified before adding to the paint compsns. On using several oils, the oils are mixed with one another, emulsified and added as an emulsion. Oil addn. (i) reduces crack formation tendency and (ii) shortens smell-generation after painting.
