PURPOSE:To suppress the heat loss due to the heat of vaporization and to heat frozen foods with microwaves, without degrading the quality of thawed foods, by heating the foods at a high output initially, and then at a lower one. CONSTITUTION:Frozen foods, e.g. frozen rice balls or other frozen cooked foods, are heated at a high output initially with microwaves. The output is then reduced when the low-temperature part of the foods is heated to the melting point or above. |
