PURPOSE:To enable the mixing of a large quantity of washing water to pressurized air, and to wash the filler of an electromagnetic filter effectively, by a mechanism wherein a portion, whose diameter is reduced, is mounted to an air introducing pipe. CONSTITUTION:A washing device for the filler of an electromagnetic filter has a washing water storage tank 3 and a pressurized air storage tank 4. A connecting pipe 7 between the washing water storage tank 3 and a filter 1 is partially reduced in the diameter and an air introducing pipe 10 is connected to a portion slightly passing the diameter reducing portion. Sincethe flow rate of a washing liquid at the diameter reducing portion 7a increasds and the pressure of the washing liquid at a portion passing the diameter reducing portion 7a is lowered, pressure difference between the washing liquid and pressurized air in the air introducing pipe 10 becomes larger, a large quantity of pressurized air is mixed into the washing liquid, and an air and washing liquid mixing current at high speed is formed. Thus, magnetic substance adhering to the filler 1a can efficiently be removed. |
