PURPOSE:To attain multiple-address communication by using terminals of the same kind, by providing a controller which sends back a return signal to a transmitting terminal when return signals from all receiving terminals are received in a system where plural terminals of the same kind are connected. CONSTITUTION:When terminal A as a transmitting terminal performs multiple- address communication with other terminals B, C and M, information sent from terminal A is sent to node N2 by way of node N1 and line L. In case of the multiple- address communication, node N2 takes data into terminal B and transfers information to next node N3 simultaneously. Node N3 performs the process similarly. On receiving information, terminal B sends back a return signal to node N1 through nodes N3 and Nm. Other terminals send back it in the same way. The treturn signal is therefore received with a difference in time, so that the process of node N1 will be simplified. |
