PURPOSE:To prepare batter for coating of frozen ''tempra'', giving ''tempra'' having excellent palatability and appearance, by mixing wheat flour or a wheat flour, mixture, with concentrated soybean protein powder, low-melting edible oil, and water. CONSTITUTION:A powdery composition composed of wheat flour or wheat flour mixture, is mixed with (A) 1-30wt%, based on the powdery composition, of alcohol-washed concentrated soybean proteins, (B) 1-40wt% of an edible oil having a melting point of <=5 deg.C and optionally containing an emulsifier, and (C) a proper amount of water. |
