CATION-EXCHANGING MEMBRANE

摘要

A cation-exchange polymer membrane made of a fluorinated resin containing in the molecules thereof electronegative groups of sulfonic-, carboxyl- or phenolic-group, which is improved by dispersing into the polymer membrane, by means of a chemical reaction, a water-insoluble inorganic ion-exchanger such as hydroxide, hydrated oxide, phosphate, molybdate and tangstate of a metallic element. This cation-exchange polymer membrane is particularly useful for electrolysis of brine.
