BATTERY MONITOR FOR ELECTRIC CAR

PURPOSE:To enable smooth countermeasure by producing an alarm quickly upon occurrence of abnormal condition or trouble in the battery. CONSTITUTION:(n+1) Number of detection leads are connected from n number of battery groups 3-1-3-n to a switching circuit 4 and perform sequential switching opertion. The switching circuit 4 switches and detects these n number of battery voltages sequentially then applies comparison signal onto comparison logic circuit 5. When said applied signal voltage has considerably low level or large difference, the comparison logic circuit 5 provides external signal to function the alarm circuit 6. Existence of abnormality in the terminal voltage of battery groups 3-1-3-n is known from the function of alarm circuit 6 thus to facilitate the inspection of battery and to enable proper countermeasure.
