<p>PURPOSE:To enable a chip, that drops down to the surroundings of a rotating table, to be removed surely and speedily onto a chip conveyer, by providing a fixed plate for scraping off the chip on a chip receiving disk onto the chip conveyer. CONSTITUTION:A sliding table 10 of a machine tool is provided movably in three- dimensional directions perpendicularly intersecting each other relative to the spindle head. On this table 10 is rotatably indexably installed a rotating table 11 that supports a work. In the table 10, a chip-receiving groove 12 is formed along the circumferential periphery of the table 11, and this groove 12 is open at a front portion of the table 10. In front of the table 10, a trough-shaped chip conveyer 13 is firmly installed. A chip is first conveyed from a disk 14 to a point right above this conveyer 13, then scraped off by a fixed plate 18 onto the conveyer 13 and finally conveyed into the chip box.</p> |
