The process for laying warning signs on a road surface, involves downwards open conical-type signs, superimposed and partially stacked (1, 2, 3), laid so that a stack-carrying retainer (5) is thrust sideways from a closed to an open position. The bottom sign (1) then falls out of the stack, and at the same time an upper retainer (12), partially below the next sign (2), and in a closed position prevents, the other signs for dropping. The bottom retainer returns to its closed position, and the upper one is opened, so that the whole stack drops onto the bottom one and the upper one moves back to its closed position. The process is repeated, with one sign laid each time, the signs being lowered either directly or via a slide track, or conveyor belt or chain. The process is mechanised. |
