PURPOSE:To impart superior bonding strength and yet enable the method to be applied for the production of Cu-Ti clad plates, etc. by using Fe-Ag or Ni-Fe-Ni-Ag as insert materials at the time of diffusion-welding Cu and Ti. CONSTITUTION:At the time of diffusion-welding Cu and Ti, Fe-Ag or Ni-Fe-Ni-Ag are used as insert materials. When the Fe-Ag insert materials are used, this results in bonding of Cu-Fe-Ag-Ti but brittle intermetallic compounds are not formed among these. When Ni-Fe-Ni-Ag are used as insert materials, Ni perfectly dissolves in Fe and Cu as solid solution, whereby the bondability is improved. |
