The manually propelled disc (34) cutter is used on e.g. asbestos cladding sheets, the disc being mounted on a rail (17) guided rolling carriage, and the cutting edge being positioned in a straight gap (12) between two deck plates (13A, 13B). The rail is of a hexagonal cross-section with alternate flats traversed by carriage rollers (22, 28), the arrangement reducing lateral disc float. The carriage may comprise twin blocks (21A, 21B) abutting on a vertical plane and connected by bolts at the head (41) and foot (35). A round interface opening accommodates the rail, having radial bore grooves at 120 deg. intervals. A lower vertical groove (29A, 29B) has blind wall bores (31A, 31B) for the axle pin (30) of a lower roller (29), with two lateral grooves (24A, 24B) accommodating bolt axles (26A, 26B) for the remaining rollers (22A, 22B).
|
