PURPOSE:To achieve the simplification of the device while preventing the fatigue phenomenon of the photoreceptor by obtaining both light sources for exposure and charged charge erasing by the use of filters from the same light source. CONSTITUTION:A reflector 4 mounted with a red color filter 5 of cylindrical form and a filter 6 which transmits light of wavelengths shorter than 650mm is disposed concentrically to a light source 3 consisting of a halogen lamp or fluorescent lamp. As a result of this, at the time when the photosensitive drum 1 passes a charging electrode 2 after the light of the light source 3 transmits through the filter 5 and is radiated onto the photosensitive drum 1 rotating in the arrow A direction to perfectly erase the charged charges on the photosensitive drum 1 and clean the photosensitive drum 1, electrostatic charges are given on its surface, after which the light images of the original platen 7 radiated through the filter 6 by the light from the light source 3 are formed through a Selfoc 8, whereby the electrostatic latent images are formed. Since the wavelengths of the light source for charged charge erasing and exposure vary, the fatigue phenomenon of the photoreceptor becomes difficult to occur. |
