The labelling machine has a stack of labels (E) which are dispensed by the distributor (3) below the vertical magazine (2). The distributor is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder. The distributor consists of fingers which fit in the interspaces of the fixed fingers (1). The label is picked up by the powered roller (8) by its edges. The roller is driven by the motor (9) through the belt (10). The bottles (0) are conveyed under the labeller and the labelling head is lowered onto each bottle as it passes the station.
