PURPOSE:To improve the starting characteristics of a pulse motor by providing a starting torque compensating circuit for flowing a current temporarily through second excitation coil of the motor by utilizing a transistor becoming ON in advance to the start of a multivibrator. CONSTITUTION:Excitation coils l1, l2, excitation coils l3, l4 and series circuit of capacitors Cc, Cd are connected in parallel to transistors TR1, TR2, and the bases of the transistors TR1, TR2 are controlled by an oscillator control circuit OCC to operate as a multivibrator. Further, a starting torque compensating circuit TCC is provided to supply a current having the same waveform as that flowing through the excitation coil l3 to the excitation coil l2 through the transistor TR1 becoming on in advance to the starting of the motor. Accordingly, by utilizing suitable phase current vs. torque characteristic of the motor, even if the rotor stopping position is displaced, the starting torque can be drawn to the main coil output torque at that point to improve the characteristics of the motor. |
