<p>The centrifugal clutch or brake has two or more flyweights guided radially on a hub and spring-loaded. They are used for pressing friction bodies against a friction face on the other half. The flyweights (11, 12) and the friction bodies (4, 4a) are separate components which are individually attached to the hub (5), and coupled together by levers (22, 23). The lever mechanism can comprise a pull link (19) fixed to each weight and a toggle linkage (22, 23) hinging on the link.</p> |
