The articulator has two main members with anchoring device for models of the top and bottom rows of teeth, hinged together by a mechanism simulating jaw movement. One main member supports the other and has a single column equipped with the pivot pins at its upper end pointing towards the other main member. The pins are part of the jaw movement simulating mechanism, which slides on them. The second member supports the rails of this mechanism.
