Polymer films having improved surface adhesion were prepared by subjecting the films to a heat treatment followed by a corona treatment at an energy to film surface of >=9 W- min/ft2). polypropylene film(0.01 in thick) was heated to 115-120≦̸C, cooled and subjected to cornona discharge(18 W-min/ft2). The film had good adhension to Ni-plated steel sheets in presence of fatty polyamide adhesive; no adhesion or slight adhesion was obsd. with heat or corona treatment only.
