<p>The lug (1) is designed to swivel and is used for lifting lowering turning and setting up of industrial components and loads. There is a vertical intersecting arrangement of two pairs of linkages which allows tipping rotating, pivoting and inclined motion in each direction up to an angle of at least 90 deg. One of the two universal joint members (2) is mounted in a bearing (3) in the object to be lifted. This allows rotational movement. The form shaped end of the members engages two arms of the cruciform members (4) of the universal joint. The fork on the second swivelling member (5) engages the other two arms of the cruciform member and is connected to an eye (6).</p> |
