Thermoelectric temp. measurement of objects in metallurgical oven - using thermocouple leads maintained in sliding contact with overhead wires by upwards pressure of lever arm on overhead wires
摘要

Thermoelectric temp. measurements in an oven contg. movable or self-movable object(s) uses three parallel wires with sliding or rolling contacts connecting the thermo-couples soldered or brazed to two measuring points on the object under investigation. The longitudinal wires are electrically connected to the leads from the thermocouples by the sliding or rolling contacts which may be maintained by the pressure, upwards on the wires, of a lever beam cross bar with a central pivot support on the lower cross-rail of the oven and a counter-weight used to provide the necessary load. Alternatively, spring pressure may be used against the reaction provided by an insulating cross member at one end of the oven.
