The camera accessories cart has a vertical shaft (9) pressed down against spring pressure to secure it in a down position. A soft elastic pad (14) is mounted on the bottom of the shaft with a ball and socket joint (12) and presses onto the ground to stop the cart. A ratchet release lever (20) at the side of the shaft provides a foot operated release. The pad is designed to compress when pressed towards the ground by the foot. On pressure release the pad shape recovers sufficiently to lift the wheel (8) very slightly off the ground. The camera setting is maintained, while maximum stability is assured.
