<p>PURPOSE:To permit the facilitation and promotion of efficiency in the removal of foreign matters and to improve the yield at the time of utilizing the title scraps as an oxidizer for steel manufacture by heating and annealing the can scraps, simultaneously removing combustible foreign matters, cutting the same into fine pieces to remove incombustible foreign matters and thereafter pressing the fine pieces into the prescribed shape. CONSTITUTION:The Al can scraps are heated; but when the can scraps have the shape of a block, the scraps are preferably dismantled into a can unit. By this heating, the can scraps are softened to increase the following cutting stage and to prolong the service life of a tool. The efficiency of the later press molding is furthermore increased to improve the strength of the molded body. The combustible foreign matters can moreover be removed. For this purpose, the heating temp. is suitably regulated to 300-500 deg.C. The can scraps subjected to the heating treatment are then cut into fine pieces to facilitate the removal of foreign matters at the selecting stage and to improve the strength of the molded body to be obtd. by the following press molding. The selected fine pieces of a can are finally subjected to press molding.</p> |
