<p>A support fitting (1) is designed to carry a pipeline, so that it can be slid into an outer protective tunnel. It consists essentially of a small (2) and a large (3) socket, joined by a baseplate (4). The latter closes off the underside of the small socket (2), but leaves the large socket (3) open. One fitting (1) can thus be assembled with another by inserting the small socket (2) into the large one (3). A fixing strap, to hold the pipeline in place, can be slid th rough slots (6) in the base of both sockets (2, 3).</p> |
