<p>The brackets (10a) which is an extension of the back frame of the seat is connected in the area of its scissor-joint (22a) to a leg part of the backframe by hinge joints (12) in the position of use this leg part is supported beneath the scissor joint by a stop. The arm rests (30, 33) are produced by a strong connection which is made on each side from the upper end of the seat frame towards the backrest and which is adjustable so that the seated person can by adjusting the length of the arm rests alter the incline of the backrest. When the arm rests (30, 33) are as short as possible the backrest is upright. The backrest can now be altered without altering the leg part of the frame and thus without altering the height of the seat.</p> |
