METHOD OF TREATING WHOLE SEEDS TO INCORPORATE SOLID MATERIALS

A method of treating seeds comprises contacting the whole grains or seeds with a mixture of a solid material in a finely divided form and an oleaginous vehicle. The components of the mixture are synergistic with respect to their absorption and/or adsorption by the grains or seeds. The mixture is maintained in contact with the grains or seeds until it has been incorporated into them. The method may be for enhancing the value of the seeds or to reduce dust hazards. Grain or leguminous seeds may be treated.
