<p>PURPOSE:To decrease a number of driving sources and enable to miniaturize as well as reduce a weight by a method wherein a paper feed driving motor is utilized as the driving source for a relative motion between a memorizing medium and a head for writing and reading. CONSTITUTION:An electronic typewriter is constituted so that a rotation of a paper feed driving motor 12 is delivered to a platen 1 through a clutch 11 for paper feeding while the rotation of the same paper feed driving motor 12 is delivered to a magnetic disc 14 through a clutch 13 for the magnetic disc 14. When the platen 1 is desired to be rotated, the clutch 13 for the magnetic disc is disengaged and the clutch 11 for the paper feeding is engaged, while, in case the magnetic disc 14 is desired to be rotated, a reversed operation is effected. Thus, the typewriter is constituted so that the paper feed driving motor is utilized as a driving source for a relative motion between a memorizing medium and a head for writing in and reading out, and thereby, a number of the driving sources may be decreased.</p> |
