SKID CONTROL DEVICE BY USE OF MICROCOMPUTER

摘要

PURPOSE:To realize optimum braking by making ROM store two kinds or more of skid control patterns corresponding to every slip rate obtained by preliminary testing so as to enable skid control corresponding to each slip rate on conducting skid control. CONSTITUTION:An output signal from a wheel velocity sensor 9 is stored in RAM3 through I/O port 4 so as to be compared with the next signal from the sensor 9. The occurence of skid is judged by MPU1 in comparison with the value stored in ROM2. When any skid is detected, MPU1 computes constantly the slip rate according to a pair of values of the velocity of wheel taken in at all times and determines to which damping straight line on the road surface stored in ROM2 the slip rate obtained through computation corresponds. Based on the slip rate thus obtained, it operates an actuator 6 through I/O port 4 operating further a hydraulic control device 7 for braking.
