PURPOSE:To forcibly exhaust contaminated air from the interior of an automobile and maintain air in the interior clean by a method wherein driving fans are rotated in air introduction passages by the utilization of air flows generated during vehicle's running, and exhaust fans in exhaust pipes are driven to rotate by the driving fans. CONSTITUTION:As an automobile runs, air is directed into air introduction passages 3 from the inlets 2 of air introduction pipes 1 arranged, e.g., at two side portions of the roof 20 of the automobile. Driving fans 5 each consisting of a sleeve 8 and blades 9 and rotatably fitted in the passage 3 are rotated by the air flows. With the fans 5 rotated, exhaust fans 6 directly connected to the fans 5 are rotated. Each of the fans 6 comprises blades 10 arranged inside the sleeve 8, the inclination of the blades 10 with respect to the sleeve axis being opposite to that of the blades 9. As a result, suction effect is created in exhaust pipes 15, dirty air in the interior of automobile is sucked into the pipes 15 through exhaust ports 16, and mixed with the air from the fans 5, before discharged to the exterior via outlets 4. |
