摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To attain smooth braking by dictating the quantity of electric brake through a function generator constituted so that is gives gradually-changing instruction values to an electric brake and giving an air-braking device a signal indicating the difference between the input and output of the function generator. CONSTITUTION:The electro-air braking device contains an instruction converter 3 for regenerative braking in which an output signal from a braking-quantity instructing device 1 is inputted and an instruction converter 6 for air braking, and the output from the converter 3 is sent to a control device 5 through a function generator 4. The control device 5 is provided so as to control the motor current so that the real regenerative-braking quantity is added to the instruction regenerative- braking quantity below the upper-limit value of the voltage of an aerial line of an electric car or within a proof quantity of a main motor, and a regenerative-braking quantity detector 2 is connected to the device 5. In the device, an adder 8 for adding the difference between the input and output of the function generator 4 to the output from the detector 2 is newly provided so that its output is added to an arithmetic unit 7 for air braking to control the air brake.</p>
