PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of transmission characteristics, without losing the flexibility of line, by providing the control switch at the branch junction point, and separating the branch line not in use from the communication line through the control of the control switch in response to the state of usage of the terminals. CONSTITUTION:The switch sections 15 and 16 are placed between the main line station side terminal of the telephone station 1, main line terminal side terminal 9 and branch line terminal 10, and the state of usage is sensed with the current sensing sections 11-14 placed at the terminals 9 and 10, for the terminals 9 and 10. Further, in response to the state of usage of the terminals 9 and 10, the switch sections 15, 16 are controlled to separate the branch lines not in use, and the deterioration of the transmission characteristics can be prevented without losing the flexibility of line. |
